[Creators' Cloud] Migrate to be ready for the system update
What happens if I don't migrate?
Users who do not migrate will be signed out of Creators' Cloud after the migration period. You will need to migrate before you can sign in again. Choose a time during the migration period that is convenient for you, as apps and services will not be available while your migration is being processed (from 1 minute to 20–30 minutes or more, depending on the amount of data).
Will anything be different after migration?
The Creators' Cloud platform will be essentially the same, but some information will be presented differently (specifically, storage usage as shown at Creators' Cloud Web and Master Cut (Beta)).
I can't find the email notification about migration.
Check your junk mail folder. Even without the notification message, you can migrate in Creators' App or online at Creators' Cloud.
Will my data be migrated automatically if I just sign myself out and in during the migration period?
Migration requires other steps besides signing out and in again. Be sure to follow the migration instructions.
How will I know when my migration is finished?
Afterward, you will be notified by email that the data has been migrated. Once you receive this message, migration will be complete. To check your registered email address, access (User Information) in the upper right of the home screen in Creators' App or online at Creators' Cloud Web.
Processing seems to have stopped in the middle of migration.
If migration processing seems to have stopped (for example, if the progress indicator does not change), an error may have occurred. No further action is needed in case of errors. The system will recover automatically. You will not be able to use features of Creators' App that require login, Creators' Cloud Web, or Master Cut during this time. You will be notified at your registered address after the system has recovered.
I'm a Creators' App user, but I have migrated online.
You will be notified by email after the data has been migrated. You can continue to use the app. The same applies if you are a Creators' Cloud Web user but migrate in the app.
I stopped the migration process at some point, and I'm not sure where to resume it.
Display the migration instructions again as follows. From that point, you can resume the process.
- Creators' App:
Start the app, and on the storage screen, select [Cloud]. If the app is already running, update the screen by tapping (refresh) next to [Cloud].
- Online (Creators' Cloud Web):
Refresh the page in your browser or close the page and click Creators' Cloud Web to access it again.
- Master Cut (Beta):
Refresh the page in your browser or close the Master Cut page and access it again.
