*1 To transfer original movies of XAVC HS and 4K movies or XAVC S movies recorded in [120p] format to an iPhone, use an iPhone 8 or later model. Note that original movies exceeding 100 Mbps or recorded in 4:2:2 10-bit format cannot be transferred even using an iPhone 8 or later model.
*2 The following devices support importing of HEIF images: iPhone 8 or later, iPad Pro 11-inch, iPad Pro 12.9-inch 3rd generation or later, iPad 8th generation or later, iPad mini 5th generation or later, and iPad Air 3rd generation or later.

Migrating from Imaging Edge Mobile to Creators' App

If camera system software updates prevent you from using an existing Imaging Edge Mobile, you will need to migrate to Creators' App for the camera. Creators' App improves upon Imaging Edge Mobile functionality by adding new features such as cloud storage, the Discover site for interacting with other content creators, and support for future camera system software updates. After updating the camera system software, install Creators' App and set up a connection as described in "Connecting the camera to Creators' App."

Imaging Edge Mobile Plus users

Imaging Edge Mobile Plus has been renamed Creators' App. Updating from Imaging Edge Mobile Plus 1.0 automatically applies Creators' App 2.0, which has a new icon. Creators' App improves upon Imaging Edge Mobile Plus functionality by adding new features such as cloud storage, the Discover site for interacting with other content creators, and support for future camera system software updates.
